ZALTRAP – (aflibercept)

Zaltrap is a cancer medicine used to treat adults with metastatic colorectal cancer (cancer of the large intestine that has spread to other parts of the body) for whom treatment with another medicine, oxaliplatin, has not worked or in which the cancer has worsened. Zaltrap is used with FOLFIRI, a treatment that combines the drugs irinotecan, 5-fluorouracil, and folinic acid.
