ZEJULA – (niraparib)

Zejula is a medication used to treat adults with certain types of epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer. It is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer. Zejula blocks an enzyme that is involved in many cell functions, including DNA damage repair. Blocking this enzyme may help prevent cancer cells from repairing the damage to their DNA and thus killing them. Zejula is a type of PARP inhibitor.
